Orchard Park, New York: a town that prides itself on athletics and academics. For the Orchard Park Quakers football team, a team rich in tradition, the 2008 season would be different.
On the field, the Quakers were realizing their dream and were playoff bound. But off the field another dream was shattered.
The tragic events of November 5, 2008 would forever the change the lives of one family, one community, one team.
Orchard Park graduate, Lindsay Matthews, 19, lost her life, but her spirit lived on in the hearts of her former classmates, who dedicated their season to her memory.
